Clean, comfortable and quaint. I like the coffee/bar area in the lobby. Guests get a free cup of regular/ iced coffee which is nice. Plus I learned that the coffee comes from a local roastery down the street. What more could you ask for?

I will definitely be returning and staying at the Lodge. The room was immaculate, stylishly decorated and extremely comfortable. Location was perfect within walking distance to downtown, UF and SW 4 Food courts and Depot Park. Staff were on point, attentive, interested in you and knowledgeable. It was also refreshing to see the owners on site often, visible and present. Cost was highly effective compared to other hotels in the area. This place is a game changer.

New renovations are amazing!! Trendy & stylish. Squeaky clean. Comfortable bed. Simple furnishings. Instead of a mini fridge, there is a small beverage cooler. Safe for solo female traveler.

The Gainesville Lodge was excellent! Christie at the front desk was very communicative and helpful when I arrived late at night. The room (including bed and bathroom) was genuinely spotless and comfortable. I was in town for work at the UF campus and the Lodge is only a couple blocks east of campus and very near to many good restaurants. Not a single complaint!

I have been here twice now. Both times the staff were very friendly and conversational. The grounds and rooms are very clean and actually interestingly and artistically decorated which adds to the charm. Really whimsical. Well lit. The bed was quite comfortable! AC cranks like a champ. Plenty of charging ports. I will keep coming back. I really like this place a lot!

Wow. This property recently changed ownership, and let me tell you….the new owners are going all out. This spot is walking distance from downtown, so we always chose this spot because it was dirt cheap, and near the bars. That was a fair trade for being a bit gross. This isn’t going to be a cheap spot anymore. They bought new beds, did a ton of renovations, and even put a bar/coffee shop on the property. This motel is unrecognizable from before. They’ve done a great job with it and you can tell they’re not done yet. No longer is this a cheap, shady spot on main street. It’s a genuine contender with a quality inn for a better price. I just hope they don’t jack the rates too much with all of the improvements they’re doing. They also did a great job hiring staff. I didn’t meet a single person on their team that wasn’t sincerely nice and helpful. The ugly ducking turned into a swan.

Was passing through and needed to split up the trip. Great location! Walkable to restaurants and bars. Super clean! Comfortable beds and bedding/pillows. Staff and manager were super friendly. Very cute bar and coffee shop attached. Would stay again
